Dodgers are a bunch of prima dona’s . They don’t like playing in the rain. Michael Busch made them pay for trading him with that bases clearing double in the first inning today. Looking like the Cubs got a steal in that trade
He'll get DFA'd soonIt’s early and i’ve already seen enough of Cuas. I mean, seriously. I hope Council learns his bullpen quickly.
Cuas is bad. This is twice now this year that the pen coughed up an enormous lead. In August, you look back at these types of games when you're lamenting a burned out bullpen. It’s early and i’ve already seen enough of Cuas. I mean, seriously. I hope Council learns his bullpen quickly.
I don’t know DFA’d is but i’m in favor of it.He'll get DFA'd soon
People will say not to fret a lost game in early April but from what 2019 and 2023 showed us - every win matters. Postseasons can be made or missed by not putting away winnable games like thisCuas is bad. This is twice now this year that the pen coughed up an enormous lead. I think that once Taillon comes back....Brown?Didn't Fan Anyone
Who do you trust in that bullpen? Smyly? Leiter?

they are a bona fide closer away from being legitimately good .I think that once Taillon comes back....Brown?
Losing Merryweather for a while hurts, losing two starters has hurt....Counsell doesn't have a ton of places to turn when it comes to the pen. It's a matter of which grenade blows up the least. When your closer can't close games.....that hurts. That's two blown games this year and if not for miraculous defense in the 9th versus LA....it would have/should have been 3.
Was thinking it might be time to DFA him now.Once Steele and Taillon are back, Hendricks needs to go
the Professor is not making the grade anymore . it’s a shame .Was thinking it might be time to DFA him now.
Instead they put him on IL. Down to 2 original starters. Was thinking it might be time to DFA him now.
I guess we will be seeing what some of the kids can do before we expected...Instead they put him on IL. Down to 2 original starters.
When's the last time the Cubs were "thick" with pitching? 2018ish?I never feel confident when Hendricks is starting. Just has the kind of stuff that requires almost perfect location and that’s hard to count on consistently. How did we get so thin on pitching? It’s gonna be a long summer.

I'm not of the opinion that Kyle is washed. He was an above average pitcher last year. Yes, he's 35, but he's never had the kind of stuff that would bring on a steep and sudden decline. He left a lot of pitches up yesterday, and the Padres sat back and spanked them the other way. If he can keep the ball down, he'll be fine. If he's dealing with some discomfort, that would explain the lack of control.
