Currently nine out of 13 scholarships locked? Likely going to bring in 4 more. If anyone else leaves (Nico seems the most likely possibility) does that mean we leave some open?
What? Lol. I have seen a lot of guesses at the Big Ten hierarchy (and that's all it can be, an educated guess), and all have had us #1 or #2 ... and I do not recall seeing Nebraska on any of them. Maybe I am mistaken? If I am, I expect my apologies for people jumping on me a few weeks ago when I said Nebraska is an underrated basketball job and probably better than Iowa at this point.after Indiana and maybe Nebraska
He is an awesome defender. Top notch.I seem to like Cliff a lot more than most on here. Thought he'd be highly sought after.
What do most Division 1 programs not like about his game?
No one really knows the state of anyone's NIL. That's a challenge. We've basically been told by insiders that our NIL has a base that can be supplemented for the right guy. There have been MULTIPLE reports here that our NIL is pushing top 10 nationally and either #1 or #2 in the Big Ten ... no need for the "woe is us" in this regard, we are VERY well positioned for NIL.
go get him OABeen waiting on this one ...

For sure. However, I am guessing that is the case for most schools - a "base pool" and some conditional donor money for the big fish. However, that "base pool" has a different floor/ceiling for each program, and it will fluctuate with the current success/trajectory of each program. And I have no problem believing that (A) our "base pool" is among the biggest in the Big Ten and (B) we have one of the larger "add-on NIL" pools, as well.No one really knows the state of anyone's NIL. That's a challenge. We've basically been told by insiders that our NIL has a base that can be supplemented for the right guy.
So whatever we thought the NIL was for a particular school could have changed as we post.
NIL is fluid.
Marcus Domask is David Eckstein.Marcus will always be an Illini legend in my book. Fantastic player and person.
Seems unlikely that Creighton could lose Kalk over money.
Except like a foot tallerMarcus Domask is David Eckstein.
Smart signing by Louisville. Need some defense and ball handling. This is not rotisserie basketball.Chucky Hepburn to Louisville.
There were some baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad takes about Pat Kelsey the day he got hiredChucky Hepburn to Louisville.
Every time you put a microphone in front of BU's face he's talking about maybe leaving scholarships open, any time you ask an insider they're talking about oversigning. Choose your own adventure.Currently nine out of 13 scholarships locked? Likely going to bring in 4 more. If anyone else leaves (Nico seems the most likely possibility) does that mean we leave some open?
Agree. Thanks. He is an awesome defender. Top notch.
From what I've seen, his low post game is pretty rudimentary, he doesn't have great touch in the paint, he doesn't shoot, so he kind of clogs things up on offense. Teams will gladly allow him to play one on one in the post, and he won't make those shots often enough. Good lob threat, but that's really all.
If Nick Irvin were here, we would've had Kalk 30 days ago...Brad's gonna bring in a secret weapon to sway Kalk: Nick Irvin
I would say like… Albert Pujols!Marcus Domask is David Eckstein.
How does one go from Kentucky/Louisville to ASU lolSo uhhhh apparently Jayden Quaintance already changed his mind about Louisville in the matter of a couple hours and is now visiting ASU and Memphis? Does that put Louisville more on the table for Humrichous?
Louisville handed him a check before he enrolled. Rookie move. How does one go from Kentucky/Louisville to ASU lol
