Yeah, I certainly wouldn’t be merry if I were a Maryland fan. He’s awful.
It’s not that he’s just like: John Groce-level mediocre. (Without question…I’d take Groce over Willard any day; and twice on Sunday.) I have no doubt that there’s probably at least 10-15 miscellaneous, no-name, random… NAIA, DIII, or JUCO dudes …that would actually be better in game coaches than Willard. JMO
yeah , but can they catch in bounds passes as good as he does.....food for thought...........

Willard did absolutely nothing at Seton Hall for 5 years before getting as consistently good as that program has ever been.

I suspect he won't get the same leash at Maryland but I guess we'll see.

They need an identity, that just feels like a lifeless program at the moment. We've been there.

Is this the final straw for Calipari? Their fans aren’t patient enough for all these early exits, especially with their level of talent every year.
