Can May actually pay Boynton's actual market value given the current budget limitations and will AD Warde Manuel pony up the money?
Any doubt that Whitman would come up with $900,000+ for Brad to add Boynton to his staff, especially if Dana won't agree for OA to return to Champaign-Urbana?

I take that as them waiting for all three to sign contracts before announcing - Boynton certainly confirmed on X that he's now at Michigan. He's getting $2.2M a year from OSU for the next 4 years and I'm sure they have a clawback clause in the contract that any new salary comes out of his buyout, so Michigan can get him cheap - it's really just a shame we didn't have an opening a couple of weeks ago -I don't know that he has any particular connection to Dusty May like he has to Brad
