Good question. I've heard rumblings elsewhere that it might be next week before we hear anything official.

While I stopped eating Pringles years ago (I'd rather poison myself with cold beer), I still miss them; they are delicious in an ultra-processed, powdery sort of way.
If the leaks and speculation here are to be believed, 6 figure sums are involved, which generally implies some big boy signatures to make anything happen. I suspect the big boys are out on the golf course working things out. After the round, their lawyers need to draw up papers. Papers need to be routed around for everyone to read, more lawyers to chime in, but eventually everyone will sign. Finally the PR people need to get involved, take some new pictures, photo shop the right university into the background, and schedule an announcement around all the other announcements they had planned.
Nothing that will happen fast even if Brad, Pope and Antigua are all in agreement on what the end game looks like.

Yeah, I guess, I was thinking of just the $400K bonus. But add in the $900K salary rumors and other stuff and it is likely a 7 figure decision in the end for Antigua.

Yep. There is no upside for UK to wait this out. If OA is content to sit around until his bonus is paid, they might as well just pay it and get their guy on the trail. They have a lot of work to do. I’m sure there are various lawyerings that need to be ironed out.

My read says UK has to pay another 6 months of salary if they terminate him too. So its probably kind of a wash there.
