Shannon is flat-out spectacular. A true game-breaker. Safely within the Top Five Illini of all time.

I cannot wait for the Ayo vs. Shannon battles in The Association in the years ahead. Two Illini greats going at it in the NBA for years. (And if the Bulls get Shannon... these battles will be on the practice floor. Let’s hope.)

Or maybe Hawkins is a Bull?

I never had the academics to get accepted into Illinois but i grew up around this program my whole life, i knew Frankie and all the manual guys, i graduated with Monte and went to school with Adam. To see how far this program has came just in my lifetime is amazing and i trust Brad 100 percent !!

One takeaway from this season that surprised me, in the Era of the transfer portal being king I worried I wouldn’t be able to feel as invested in 1 year transplant players. This year shows I care as deeply about those guys as much as our dedicated long term guys like Coleman. This year has made me less cynical of the transfer portal (for now at least).

Moving the Ty Roger’s shooting woes commentary to this thread. Does anyone remember having another player who would not even attempt a shot from more than 5 ft away?

A very entertaining season! Much like life, it's not about the last moments, it's about the "dash".

October 31st - March 30 has been fun. I was entertained, and that's my goal with sports. The end doesn't get me down, as it's ultimately not important. I'll take joy on the positive and shrug off the negative.

Onto to MLB baseball for me.

So is the 5 on the floor right now our starting 5 next season?:

DGL
Dain
Hansberry
Goode
Moretti

Would that be right?

EDIT: Sorry, Ty Rodgers would be in there somewhere too I would think.

You have a lot to catch up on
