I would like to see Coleman end up on the Warriors, both for himself (back near home) and Steve Kerr’s willingness to use guys with his skill set and build in non-traditional ways. Warriors need holes plugged all over the roster, but I imagine they know they need a long-term Draymond replacement bad.

Bring it back!

This was for a #7 seed Illini team playing an unranked opponent in 2012-13. Coming off of an Elite Eight and multiple Big Ten/BTT championships in recent years, a Saturday game at the UC in December while the students are home anyway would be a home run. Schedule Kentucky and have a return game in Indianapolis to mutually troll Indiana!

Heard a whisper we’re gonna be in the Emerald Coast Classic but not sure if that’s legitimate.
Hope that is true, I will be there. I live one hour away. Was disappointed when they canceled the one Illinois was going to play in a few years ago.

I hope so too. It would be my third time down to 30A and Destin area this year, but my wife would literally never say no to another trip there. I know the other thread had fry wars (can’t believe nobody mentioned Gene’s and Jude’s—best fries and hot dogs around), but The Red Bar in Grayton Beach has the best panned chicken I’ve ever had. I ran into an Illini fan wearing an Illinois hat in Rosemary Beach this past February. Would definitely be good to see more Illini down there!

I wish Gulf Shores, AL was an hour closer to Destin. We took a vacation there last year and had a great time. Some great restaurants in Gulf Shores. 2 hours is a little too far to combine Gulf Shores and Illini hoops.

for me , Gene & Jude’s fries are a little too soggy , and the dogs are too .
I understand the attraction it holds for many people , but it’s just not for me .

Mickey’s in Villa Park has good stuff . crispy skinny fries

I was always partial to the fries at Sam's Place, mostly because it was lunch off campus within walking distance. Shout out to the fellow Dukes.
