Our defense was elite in the final 7 minutes. Oakland seems like a well coached group and Kampe was calling some great sets. They look pretty dangerous to me.

Feels like Loyola from a few years ago but much less dependent on one player. Quality coaching in both cases.
Early games are wild....see MD vs Davidson. Love the potential of this team but horrendous FT shooting & streaky 3pt shooting makes me nervous.

The plan was Shannon living in his hip pocket and giving him 0 space all game. Outstanding defense by him.
Great final 10 minutes. First 30 were fairly brutal.

Dain, Ty, Quincy, and TSJ has really good games. Cohawk had a tremendous final 10 minutes. Marcus gave us a good little stretch as well.

DGL played like a freshman (honestly this is to be expected in games
Harmon was mainly MIA in the minutes he played
Negatives:
Goode was really poor in all facets tonight
CoHawk needs a much faster start.

It's a good sign that the team shot fewer than 30 threes. Hell, they shot fewer than 20. I think the name of the game tonight was discipline. I really want to hear if Brad thinks the guys stuck to the script.
Math is hard.
We’ll never know, but I’m curious if Brad’s changes (most notably the big lineup) came with ten minutes left because he was trying to give them time to sort themselves out, or if it took him that long to get to that adjustment.

After John Beilein's departure, have we seen a 1-3-1 in any regularity? I don't think so, but it can be such a n incredible change of pace, much less mainstay defense.
