Yes. I think you can either be the super tough, physical, foul on every play team, or you can be floppers. Both is a bad look.
A Big Ten Tournament title, 2nd place regular season finish, and (at least) an Elite 8 appearance is a top 5 or 6 season in modern Illinois history.

So impressed with how Illinois handled adversity and playing without Shannon down the stretch. You can probably count on one hand teams who could have done that and held on vs someone as good as Iowa State.

We made the adjustment here to force the ball inside to Dain. He made some buckets and it opened up the floor for Goode to drop his key 3 and for Marcus to get to the rim for the And 1 which we desperately needed

That was a final four game. Game wasn't as close as the score indicates. We were uniquely bad at the free throw line and officiating changed at half time which hurt us. And we still led wire to wire. Wire. To. Wire. Against the #1 defensive team in the country. And the #2 overall team in the country since the post season started.

Harmon's shot is off but he's been mainly put into games to defend. Goode's shot has been there during the B10 and NCAA tournament. Just clutch 3's at the right time
