It's 1AM and I'm still going to need some supplement(s) to fall asleep within the next 30-60 minutes.

Absolutely incredible effort. That is the game that Iowa State wanted (or at least closer to what they wanted than what we wanted), while Shannon was really good - again - he was hampered with fouls, Domask struggled to score, the whole team was awful from the free throw line...

And still they won. I'm not going to predict a win against UCONN, but if UCONN were to lose during the tournament this is the team that'll be the reason.

I said earlier in the week that Illinois had only three games this season scoring fewer than 70 points. They were 1-2 in those contests. We were on pace to be right at 70 or just under before that slam.

I had also said tempo would dictate the outcome. Somehow, some way, we played an Iowa State basketball game and still managed to pull it out.

Just can't say enough about how great this team is.

So ISU is an absolutely amazing team that made us play ugly as hell, and we still won. Because we have the ABSOLUTE BEST PLAYER IN ALL OF COLLEGE HOOPS!!

Man the post game so little love they spent 15 minutes talking about the Average chumps that is Clemson and talked about illini for 4 minutes tops.but of course they got time for that pos hurley to talk.i hope more then anything then to put that chump in line fr
