Why did we stop taking it downhill within the final two minutes in regulation. I mean the refs weren't exactly all there in terms of sound mind but we made it too easy to defend us even after Reed fouled out.

I'm just happy to still escape with a W.

P.s. it was idiotic for the Krush to be chanting "NIT" at the 12 minute mark against a team that had nothing to lose.
Refs weren’t calling anything late?

Love Ty's confidence along with Underwood's confidence in Ty. He's going to be special.

I felt like the team understood who should have the ball when it was close. Something we've struggled with in the past. We did a much better job taking the ball to the basket instead of taking contested 3s.

The refs can eat a bag of you know what. It's criminal the guys out there tonight called themselves officials.

That being said, we have to execute better down the stretch. This game wouldn't have seen one overtime if we had.

Credit to the kids and staff for not giving in and letting things snowball.

We shot 34 free throws and only 18 threes. That needs to be the norm for us.

My son (Purdue alum) texted me the same thing.

Also fun fact, we apparently played the entire first OT between the start and end of a review at the end of Rutgers-Minn.
If true, which I do not doubt at all, that is outrageous and yet further evidence of the largest and most obvious problem with this league.

What a game!!! So happy with the effort, the intensity, the not settling for threes (maybe some of that in OT but the players looked gassed).

All that being said, this was one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen. The goaltending on Hawkins that wasn't, the play where it went out on Michigan but they gave them the ball, the play where Hawkins got called for the foul when the UM player went elbows-first into him... the drama queen FLOP by Dickinson that came straight out of a soccer game. The play where Shannon got whacked in the head on a layup and no call??? Ugh, that was so frustrating.
