Seeing the @illini0440 's comment about $15 million in new NIL money football, the staff has to be hunting back channels for a few pieces in the spring portal window. My wish list (in order of need):

DT/3-Tech (starter, difference maker)
CB (starter, stabilizer)
WR (starter, unless Elzy really pops in spring ball)
G (depth, push to start, assuming someone on interior line will transfer after spring ball)
LB (depth, coverage guy)
RB (3rd down pass-catching option)

I would say OT would be a bigger need than guard.

Meant to put that with WR. Both have a similar situation where there is a highly recommended underclassmen penciled in as a starter but the staff needs to figure out if bringing in someone doesn't hurt the long-term (transfer out) or is a necessity based on spring performances.

Recruit tackles, if they don’t work out you move them inside. Crisler and Adams are both perfect examples of why interior linemen don’t play tackle.
