That's contingent on Woodson putting talent around him and coaching said talent competently. I'm willing to take my chances on that.

They’ll get talent they arguably have the most talented team every year in the Big10. Idk if I trust Woodson to put it together but with their top NIL they’ll get dudes unfortunately

I actually am kinda OK with this… We should be rooting hard for Woodson to roll out yet another roster that can’t shoot. If this comes to fruition, we’re looking at a back court featuring Tony Perkins & Trey Galloway lol

Any movement on the center out of Stanford, Maxime Raynaud? Seems like a stud (averaged 15.5, 9.6 rebounds, 2 assists, and shot 36% from 3).

I may be in the minority, but when is this 5 years crap over.

Part of the reason Jay Wright said you can't roll out Fr. against grown men is these guys are 23-25 years old now. I'm so ready to go back to 4 years of eligibility.

One more year. Fully in agreement. It’s really messing up the balance and making it tough on young guys.

Someone posted that returners Dainja, Hansberry and Morez looks like we'll be pretty well fixed for bigs next year. I can't agree. I love Dain, but he does have some limitations as well as strength. Morez may be very skilled, but hasn't ever played a college game. Hansberry has played so few minutes he's practically a freshman himself. And does any one of them have a perimeter game (on offense)? Furthermore, incoming frosh Jakstys (sp?) seems to have made it clear that he needs to redshirt a year to develop more strength and muscle mass. To me, it seems like we need to import at least one or two skilled bigs. In the backcourt we don't have even one proven scorer. I hate to use the word "rebuilding," but it sure looks like BU has his work cut out. Rodgers and Goode are going to be very important.
The insiders know a ton more than us, but nobody can assume that some of those guys are not going into the portal. Dain has had a great run of things, but was pretty much bumped out of the rotation for what, two months? If I'm him, I need some iron clad assurances that I'm a starter and/or a key piece to the puzzle. His college eligibility is getting closer to being at the end than the beginning.

Goode's role was far, far less than any of us anticipated to begin the season. He's been reduced to a spot minutes guy and even late in games, Ty had taken his minutes. He participated in senior night, which was said to be part of celebrating his completion of his degree. Seems odd, but who knows?

I think that we'll have to look at Harris and TGL too.

I'd think that Hansberry is solid. He knows he's part of this future.

A lot of the above, to me, is going to be BU's intent and success in the portal. None of those guys are going to accept being buried on the depth chart again and transfer rules being what they are, I don't blame them.

When you base your roster on the portal, these are the decisions that will arise every year.

You are not kidding! Back in the days of the NAIA, I was a freshman at WIU playing soccer against 25 year old soccer players from England. Experience and maturity of the body go a long way.

I think it is more that a 3-4 star senior will perform way better than a Kentucky who will an abundance of 5 star freshmen who are one and done

There is no more rebuilding. We are built. We reload.
