What if Ant is a double agent and just throwing everyone off the scent? 🤣
This was my initial thought.

Illini in OC

In. The. Alley.
If Storr does commit to the Illini, then I am trusting BU to push him to the limit so he becomes a better defender and complete player. I rather have a TSJ-type player as a #1, so I hope Storr becomes a very solid complementary player.
THIS.
BU will have plenty of A-players to choose from.
BU, showing video of TSJ's work ethic to any potential transfer: "So... I know you're familiar with what we do here. Tell me your plan to be the best you can be."

You really don't think Kansas hasn't been talking to him the way we've been? I'd bet they've been in on him as long as we have this time around.
Of course. And he's likely telling them good things just like he's telling us.

Get the feeling Illinois wants him more than Kansas as of right now
And this is where NIL is such a radical change.

It's a movie we've seen a thousand times before, they're a Blue Blood who doesn't need the player, we're desperate old Illinois, and the kid chases the sparkle.

But now, if Kansas has other priorities than Storr but Illinois really wants him, the hard financial realities are going to reflect that.

Good Lord, what did they do to that uniform?
Apparently, it's an alternate for Black History Month.

How does Indiana just swoop in and get a 5 star every freaking cycle. Horrible coach, horrible team, and horrible pants yet they still get the top ranked dudes every single year when we’ve yet to ever land 1! Eric Gordon will always make me hate them

Does it really matter? Look at their results the last 5 vs ours…..
Recruiting five star high school kids doesn’t really matter anymore when they transfer out after a year of development. Kentucky has learned that the hard way. Meanwhile, Brad has masterfully adapted to the transfer portal to seek out high-level, immediate impact players.

I would have concerns that Storr is focused on getting his shots up and while talented, might not be a big team player. Similar to Matt Mayer.

With that being said, Brad just lived two different ends of the spectrum in the past two seasons, so I trust his instincts.
Enough with the Mayer hate. If we had this version of Shannon, Mayer wouldn’t have had to create his own shot as much

Mayer was 3rd team big 10.

Storr as a freshman and sophomore significantly ahead of where Shannon was at the same time. Shannon upped his game / tbd how storr will progress.

Gard is not a terrible coach, I am not a Wisconsin fan (look at my icon, for god's sake) but sheesh.
If he hadn't made 2 S16s off of Bo's players to start his tenure, he'd have been fired already. He did win a couple conference titles but he'll be let go within in the next 2 years you can take that to the bank.

He's not suited for the current CBB era.

Not concerned currently...
We usually recruit behind the scenes...I'm sure we have some contingencies not being said...
