Yet none of them knew when one of our own assistant coaches was on his way out?

Child please…
I recall multiple mentions of some likely movement in our assistant coaches, even mentioned during the NCAA tourney. The guys bringing valuable info here aren’t always exact as everything is fluid and can turn on a dime but I’m way more prepared for most things thanks to the valuable insights shared here.

Except for one school we all know.

The NCAA tournament shows talked about how our lack of a true big made us susceptible to teams like Purdue and UConn. That hasn't changed for 2024-25.

With our B1G competitors locking up highly-ranked centers in the portal (and Purdue has 7'2" freshman center Daniel Jacobsen coming in to replace Edey) Brad better have something up his sleeve. I love Morez, but asking him to come in as a freshman and stop these experienced big guys is asking a lot. So far, I haven't heard anything from our insiders that says getting a top tier big (a 5, not a tall 4) in the portal is a high priority.
It was only practice at the final 4, yeah I'm talking about practice man, but Purdue's freshmen 7'2" center looked very skilled and fairly athletic- he's gonna be a problem next year.

Aaron Jordan's Dad my friend. And yes, very cool poster....

See above^^^^ Pretty sure Michael Jordan is still around ;-)

EDIT: I think you may have gotten me there.... /s lol
I miss Rob. He was a really cool and smart guy who really cared about his son's education. I loved helping him give the media hell when all they could do in post-games was ask Aaron about not playing much the year before.

@LvilleILL stated winning was important to Maddox and Illini offer his best chance at that. I find it hard to believe Illinois is just suddenly out of the picture while he’s currently on campus. Oh and Tim Anderson is lead recruiter on this one.

I think winning is important and Illinois & Xavier definitely provide his best chance to win and get to the tourney next year ...

TA has remained confident on this one throughout the recruitment ...

I think coming out of the Louisville visit they jumped up to the top spot ... Partially because they have upped their initial NIL offer ...

I still think things could change again if he makes it to Xavier and Sean is able to pitch him ...

This is going to be one that I think could go multiple ways and he really wants to take his visits and then decide ...

it’s the annual insider hate-a-thon… get you ignore buttons ready…

Seriously we go through this once or twice a year in the off season. I’m not sure why but maybe others aren’t getting the website traffic they want.
