I said all along … Sean is elite when he gets kids on campus … If he made the Xavier visit, I’d get worried …
I’ve heard Xavier will be the pick for Maddox from Xavier staff …
This one really stings … I really liked the kid … Brad really wanted him …
Sean is going to still try and bring in Conwell in addition to Maddox … For those that will ask if that’s the direction we go …
Mahaney was an entry last night … Kris Parker … Kobe Brea … Jeremy Roach could be a name …
And I think the biggest wildcard here is Boogie Fland … And our odds would only increase if a certain guy comes back …

I think Xavier has always kind of been the leader … And I’ve said that for a while …
Especially because Claude was going into the portal originally … Sean has really pushed the narrative that all 4 of McKnight, Claude, Maddox and Conwell can play together … And all get their numbers and win at an elite level … And I think those 4 have really believed him …
Losing a top priority kid from Illinois who would have all the shots and playing time he'd want here to a place like Xavier regardless of who their coach is, is a big loss.

We have so many open scholarships. JMO but I would love it if Brad took a flyer on Jaden Schutt. I doubt he lost all his basketball skills in past 2 years. Luke is a SR so we need more shooting in 2025.

Xavier is not some poverty program …
Steele had them off the tracks for sure … He’s Groce’s brother for those who don’t know … I could’ve told you that Xavier was gonna fall off …
Sean had them in sweet 16 his first year … He put Colby Jones in the NBA … Turned Souley Boum into an elite college player …
Then this year lost 2 starters in August … And had to bring in 11 new guys … It was going to be a down year … But in that down year McKnight, Claude, and Olivari really, really produced … Great sell for guards …
HOWEVER - I agree - losing a kid like Maddox to Xavier … IMO is unacceptable … Brad said he was his top guard target … Losing a kid that’s your top guard target to Xavier when they already have 2 guards better than him and if they get Conwell I’d say he’s on Maddox level … So 3 guards better than or equal to him ?? That just can’t happen …

A GTO for your first car is pretty darn good.
The paint on my Plymouth would actually oxidize. The only way to remove it was to wax it. The exterior and interior were in excellent shape,
however, the entire body was rusting underneath. I had to put a Masonite board in front of the radiator in winter so the heater would work.

68 GTO 400 4 speed. Had a factor reverb. Went off eveytime I went over a bump or railroad tracks. We have a lot of similarities my brother.

I was just referring to a post about losing a guy, yet he was never committed to Illinois. Cant win them all.

65 Barracuda. 318 4 bbl. Gold fastback with black interior. Loved that car until it was stolen. Got it back. Whoever stole it ran the Beejesus out of it. Engine blew up on our wedding night. 2 buddies had to bring us my new FIL's car so we could go on from there. True story.

First car I got to drive regularly was my dad's work car.....a 57 Chevy , 3 speed column shift........6 banger.....had a small hole in the gas tank.....I carried around a bar of soap and cut off a piece of the soap to stop the leak.....didn't last very long....gas was 19.9 a gallon..... .......lol...........had a big back seat that was very roomy , if you catch my drift........It really really really really was.......

My second car was the 69 Camaro Indy Pace car that i showed pics of a few month's back.......I sympathize with you as that car was stolen as me and my now ex were living in Louisville..........Found the frame 3 weeks later and State farm rebuilt it from the ground up on the cheap......didn't have the cowl induction hood and the brakes went out as I was driving it back to McLeansboro from
L-ville.....Like you , I loved that ragtop till it was stolen.....traded it off after I got the brakes fixed........ex was 6 months pregnant at the time and big as a house.........lol............
