Since the portal and NIL world really took off over the last 2 years, Brad has put together an underachieving 9 seed with no chemistry and an over achieving 3 seed with togetherness out their whazoo.

This year feels more like the 9 seed in the off-season. I’m not saying it WILL be that, but that year had a lot of new faces even with the projected star power and abilities brought in…same as what’s unfolding right now.

I think people are completely in the right to be overly cautious and skeptical or confident and worry free depending on their perspective.

same league as "Kellogg." A lot of that has to do with the proximity of Chicago. Life altering is a bit much, but clearly NW's MBA is stronger!
I would say that the U of I it is a better program than Indiana. It is a beautiful campus, but academically it is not even close to the U of I.

MBA quality isn't my area of expertise, so I did a some web searching. What I found is that going to IL(Geiss) for an MBA vs.IU(Kelley) would be like going to IU for an eng degree vs. UIUC. If Goode wants an MBA, then I think he made the right call.

Of the more concrete data I found: There were 4 major ranking lists: 3 US specific, 1 world wide. Kelley (IN) is ranked between 20th and 30th on all three US ranking lists. They did not make the top 100 MBAs in the world list. Geiss(IL) was not on any list. All of the lists had at least 100 entries.

IL accounting is an entirely different matter. I saw it as 5th on one list as I scanned. I didn't actively look for it on the others.

Humrichous is significantly longer than either of them. High and quick release too, that jumper plays at any level. But, I’ve watched all the clips I can find on Youtube and I don’t think I’ve seen him post up a single time. Neither does Knecht.

Domask *always* had that. He sought out back-to-basket situations which is not typical for players of his size, not really typical for anybody these days. It was a unique aspect of his game personally.

We’re not going to play booty ball next year unless we have a guard for whom that is an existing strength. Humrichous is neither a guard nor is that an existing strength. He will do what he’s good at which is shoot over people and drive against undisciplined closeouts when teams lose track of him.

Why do you do this to yourself??? Compare 2 completely different years, that are both OVER & DONE with, to an incomplete year that is BARELY into the portal cycle???? WHY???? WHY???? WHY?????? PLEASE tell my WHY????
