True. Apparently, it seems some now believe Loyalty is a place that can get you to a place where you can find and enjoy casual dating with real women.Lol...that ain't the only thing this board is confused about.

Desmond Claude checks in at #36 on the 247 Portal rankings.
Humrichous does not appear among the 368 players ranked. Jake Davis does. (That's not remotely justifiable given the programs recruiting Humrichous, but the list says what it says)
Loyalty, who would you rather have if you could only have one?
(I know it isn't the same position, quiet down and answer the question)

You have 13 roster spots to fill. What's that harm in kicking the tires? When's the last time a project big worked for us? I guess you could say Maverick Morgan & Giorgi would the only one's that come to mind semi recently. Mike Davis a while ago. They're usually not a very high hit rate.
Not sure how you answer it without accounting for position. Your question seems to really be asking, if you could only have 1, which would you rather have - a stretch 4 or a big athletic wing. I assume everyone would take the wing. In your scenario, the answer changes depending on whether we would also have David Jones (or someone like him) or not.

Iron: "This Illinois team is a sure fire tournament team in my book"Not sure I said it wasn’t a tournament team but I definitely thought that was a risk and that it was going to be a fundamentally flawed team that was much less than the sum of its parts, parts that I recognized to be of very high quality.
Have you considered more NIL money?Im not getting my hopes up. I asked my wife if she thought we could Mor Seck and she said it wasn’t going to happpen.
Here here, but will the wives go for it?I firmly believe that everyone on this board would benefit from Mor Seck(s)
I’ll bite- I’ll take Humrichous given our current roster. Claude is a better all around player but we don’t need a PG and a wing that shoots 23% from three and takes 3.3 of them a game is not good for the team (why did he keep shooting them?)

Not sure how much eligibility Mor Seck has, but nothing wrong with contacting him now to be better positioned for when the kid enters portal after next season. Start building relationship now.You have 13 roster spots to fill. What's that harm in kicking the tires?
Also, I would argue Coleman was a project big which would make 2 big hits for Brad in 8 years with him and Giorgi.
Worst case scenario he's not good, never cracks the rotation, and goes the way of Omar Payne.
In his defense, not agreeing that a team is a sure fire tournament team, is not the same thing as saying that they are not a tournament team.Iron: "This Illinois team is a sure fire tournament team in my book"

I thought it was a senseless and inexplicable failure to put together the complete components of a basketball team. It really bothered me that we’d done the hard part and screwed up the easy part.
I couldn’t imagine how fluidly we’d be able to play on offense, in that sense I was completely wrong.
Assuming we add some size to the mix here, I don’t foresee those kinds of worries next year. It’s going to be a question of how a brand new roster comes together from a culture perspective I think.
Frankly, if we project Ben Humrichous as a prominent offensive focal point next year, I feel safe assuming I will be less negative and gloomy than many others. We need and are seeking a player or two here who would push Gentle Ben down the pecking order where he belongs.
I’m not doom and gloom in the slightest at the moment, to be clear. I feel like I like our portal additions thus far more than most. I’m talking myself into Tre White more by the day. The only thing he needs to change is everything, and the sky is the limit!
(I’m also at a place with BU where I’m not going to freak out if next season turns into a disaster, and I know that it would be very very different for many posters.)

You’re ruining the narrative that he’s another slow guy from a mid major. See Marcus Domask. At worst, he's a decent role player next year. At best, he's a really good big ten starter. Guy that is 6'9, skilled, and shoots 42% from three. There's a reason why a ton of power 5 schools want him.......
Good stuff, I didn't know where to go looking for that.Iron: "This Illinois team is a sure fire tournament team in my book"
