His DRtg was 110. TSJ's this past year was 106 (he was in the 90s every other year). It will be interesting to see how he gets along with Barnes. That guy is all defense.
Eh, Knecht was a liability too. Tennessee has a lot of production to replace in losing Vescovi, James, Knecht and Aidoo.

Group text exchange between my two brothers and me:

Me-posts link to Mor Seck with caption “The Krush chants alone would be worth it. 😂

Brother 1-Going from having Cockburn to wanting Mor Seck sure is something

Brother 2 - Usually the Mor Seck happens before the Cockburn, not the other way around.

Me-(Laughs uncontrollably)

If I’m not mistaken, you have to be in the portal by 1 May so we have 7 days which includes grad transfers.

Not saying magic won’t happen but I’d imagine we’ll start getting the tempering of expectations posts soon.
Huh? That's when guys can put their name into the portal (i.e., get their free transfer), not commit/enroll at their new school.

I honestly feel like Harmon was good enough to be a pretty major contributor. I don't really know what happened but it was like he forgot how to play basketball.
He swolled up while TSJ was out...very important...

Not sure how much eligibility Mor Seck has, but nothing wrong with contacting him now to be better positioned for when the kid enters portal after next season. Start building relationship now.
You need at least 2 of them for this joke to work.

Check out page 18 of the previous recruiting thread. The original spam post has been deleted, but the responses are still there.
I was kidding. I read them over a late lunch before I posted that and rofl'd. Your post in particular (photos/GIFs) was primo.

Love me some LAD.

Unfortunately can’t help but agree with this. I suspect the staff was a bit blindsided by the sheer amount of money being thrown around / the asks for elite talent being higher than expected. Can’t really blame them, the whole sport seems a bit shell shocked by the last few weeks. Seems like there was a lot of confidence of an extremely strong roster and that has dissipated as reality has set in.

Alternative names to Onyenso popping up. Would Illinois wait on him if he rides out the draft process? Not sure.
I would doubt Onyenso would wait out the full draft process though- he’s not getting much buzz and is not high on any mocks - a late second round pick isn’t worth much these days in terms of any guaranteed money

He’s now hearing what he’s worth in NIL money from schools so I would imagine it makes it a pretty easy decision

I have been wondering this same thing. All the talk about how well we are doing in NIL, and I don't doubt that's true, but maybe competitors have a little -- or a lot -- more than we thought. And teams coming off bad or so-so years like Michigan, Indiana, Louisville, Xavier, etc. are more desperate to spend big.
