Seton Hall guard Kadary Richmond: I like a tough kid from Brooklyn. Nice stats last season...except that 27.0% on 3s! Was that an aberration? Does anyone on staff have a connection with Richmond?

This is why we need to be patient, people.

Portalers occur in waves, and this last wave the next week is going to be a tsunami.

Everyone is preparing to take shelter ...

Brad is in the kitchen ... COOKING ... 🔥🔥🔥

It does seem like several people are interpreting the May 1 deadline as some sort of player signing deadline, which is hugely impatient.

They also see these programs like Michigan, Indiana, Louisville and other recovering disasters scoop up talent fast like it's going out of style and then panic.

I mean, that's fire. But there are so many options to set this lineup depending on how things shake out.

Does Undy have a real shot at Omier at the 4? If he secures B-Hum soon, I assume he doesn't make a run at Omier. But would he still have enough NIL $$$ to get Holmes? I imagine that's mostly a pipe dream, but I do love to dream.

Def. like Holmes > Kalk but that'd probably be a little too pricey. In that case, Kalk is more than just a reasonable consolation. Indy, is it possible we can get both one of Kalk or Holmes and Onyenso as well? Really like Onyenso's potential.

Kadary, Jones, and Kalk would drain our NIL pool ... Not room to give Holmes $1 million ...

Even getting those 3 would be expensive and only one is currently in the portal ... ;)
Yeah I meant to say if you pass on Holmes but that enables you to afford those 3, then that's very enticing. I probably wasn't clear. Seems like whoever ends up with Holmes will need to be all-in on him. Although it does seem like we might be in a decent place to do that as well, although we'd need to find a 5 at a decent price still probably. Either way sounds good to me. Brad and team get paid to make the determination on which way will end up better.

We have nowhere near enough money to get all of those players, not a chance. If Oumar Ballo got $1.2, DaRon Holmes is $2MM without breaking a sweat, and if no one will give it to him he can be a Washington Wizard next year.

Any of Kadary, Jones and Kalk would be a colossal coup. I would definitely be aggressively pursuing Onyensu to take the Kalk role though, Kalk is only leaving for money, and he will have every apex shark maxxing out for him.

Onyensu and Jones have answers for the "why us" question, as did Boswell (as did, in fairness, Storr). That's where my focus would be.
