Nobody said he was coming. Nobody even said that he was definitely going to enter the portal. Indy just said he was hearing a bunch of rumors, and it would be interesting to see if Creighton was going to come up with enough NIL to keep him.

Other than Boswell who was rumored every off season none of us knew any of the other players who are transferring in were even considering Illinois

- White - nobody here follows USC basketball or Louisville basketball (dumpster fire)
- Booth - only heard of him because he committed to PSU right after Amani commited to Illinois. Nobody here follows ND basketball.
- Humrichous - nobody here follows Evansville basketball
It stands to reason that our next recruits will be somebody we have never heard off.

Thank God this didn't get drawn out so that we can move on in our search for a center, if we're in actuality looking for one. Absent pulling a rabbit out of the hat with someone from Europe the carcass of NCAA centers looks picked pretty clean at this time.

Have you watched elite first round picks? Taken over games like D Will, Nick, Kendall, Magic, and others first or second All B10 or even All American. Cam is not a first round pick imo nor is Coleman and they both will be playing college hoops next season if they wanna maximize future earnings. Don't kid yourself and compare Cam to most one and does. He isn't.

Brad is playing this pretty smart by going Europe for his center. You can disagree if you want, but I am confident in the kid we are going to land being better than the majority of centers that have been crazy expensive in the portal and for way cheaper. The big time money is going to be saved for their other European target along with a wing
