Replace the martini with either beer or whiskey. Or a milkshake, for that matter.
There Will Be Blood is a better movie than No Country for Old Men. There, I said it. Fight me.

That could be said for quite a few people on this board. The amount of novels I skim or just skip over...No A from me until he gets his word count down to 200...

His game reminds me a bit of Hunter Dickinson with more upside…and minus the punchable face. Thanks for the link. From the description in the link it also seems like he is a true 5 and not another tall stretch 4. That would bode well if CH does consider returning.
Draft Notes
The twin brother of Kentucky star Zvonimir, Tomislav is a bit heavy and not as smooth of a mover but has a great size and strength and a nice skill level.
He’s got good hands, catches everything, secures rebounds well and has a soft touch around the basket. Shoots a high percentage from the field and is a very good FT shooter as well.
He uses his size and weight well to control the paint. Holds his ground well and is an intimidator on defense.
He projects as a possible second round pick to un-drafted player.
Probably pretty big considering we've done it the last few seasons. How big a possibility is it that we leave a scholarship open? Not really a fan of doing that (it's kinda like a wasted opportunity) but Brad's not against it to say the least.
Yeah at a glance, this year it looks like he’s shot a bit over 40% from 3 at a bit over 1.5 attempts per game or so, and also over 80% from the line, which you love to see in a big.His game reminds me a bit of Hunter Dickinson with more upside…and minus the punchable face.
Back in the day when you could fill the spot with Lucas Johnson or Kevin Turner and watch the blossom it was a lost opportunity. How big a possibility is it that we leave a scholarship open? Not really a fan of doing that (it's kinda like a wasted opportunity) but Brad's not against it to say the least.
I was wondering the same thing. Why would they not like U of I? Never mind. Already answered.I thought it was MSU that the Christie family doesn't like, they don't like us either?

Why not? We need quality more than we need quantity. We rarely play more than 8-9 guys anyway (6-7 later in the year). As of now, we have 9 players. IMO if we add a quality SG and a quality C, we're in great shape. Spend money on quality guys. If we want a 12th and 13th guy (for practice purposes), give the rides to walk-ons, but don't waste NIL money on those spots. How big a possibility is it that we leave a scholarship open? Gotta say it like you mean it.Very clear that you are not going to fall for the banana in the tailpipe
Omier over Coleman makes no sense but...oh well...doesn't matter at the end of the day...
Does anyone think that BU may give DGL a shot at SG? I mean, it seems as if DGL is sticking around for some reason, no?They definitely could have played together, though irrelevant now. Just find a quality SG and we're good.
Not going to lie. I don't like seeing this. Even though I feel he comes back, I still hate it. The others, I can deal with. Just tough to think of him playing for someone else in CBB.
we arent in play for any of these guys rn. it makes no sense to me putting all our chips into European players. I got trust in brad and we added good pieces, but how much scoring came from TSJ domask and hawkins? we need to add an alpha who can get buckets. big 10 is stacked this year
Good find. If he hasn't signed any new contract since last summer (or hasn't received any "non-essential" compensation) then he should be eligible and hopefully the process is relatively quick with the precedent with his brother.Regarding Ivisic- here’s an interesting article from when Kentucky brought over his brother, the very bottom has the commentary about eligibility, apparently the brothers were taking online classes and only getting reimbursement for expenses while others on the team are pros
Obviously OA went through this process for his brother, so he knows the drill and wouldn’t be pursuing this if it wasn’t an option
What is Kentucky getting in 7-foot-2 Croatian center Zvonimir Ivisic?
The Wildcats added the intriguing big man this week. Here's a detailed breakdown of his strengths and weaknesses.theathletic.com
Sure. Why not? He's more of a SG than a PG anyway.Does anyone think that BU may give DGL a shot at SG? I mean, it seems as if DGL is sticking around for some reason, no?
Novels are the most insightful, I love them. That could be said for quite a few people on this board. The amount of novels I skim or just skip over...
Think Hummer is a closer replacement to Marcus then anyone we have so far to replace TJ or Hawk. Jake can replace Luke and other transfers superior to last year’s players. Believe Tre is being underestimated but need a big defender. Really not worried about scoring but have no idea about defense. Kylan, Ty, Tre, and Ben pretty solid four but not convinced Morez or Booth can fill the fifth.is that any different from the constant string of I trust the staff posts? We made an Elite 8 last year?
I'd rather see a post with some substance other than a dismissal that simply says, I'm sure things will be just fine. What is the point of a message board if we're all just going to say, don't worry Brad is the greatest coach, he'll fix it.
Reality is, this year is an experiment in my mind. People like to say, well we brought in a lot of guys last year. True, but over 55% of our points, rebounds, and assists came from returning players. The 3rd team All American that was the driving force of the team was a returning player. People like to compare Humrichous to Domask, Domask had a much MUCH better resume than Humrichous.
We need to replace everything. We need a new leader, we need everyone to gel, they need to learn the offense and defense, the need to get along with the staff. Everything. And there's almost no experienced players to help them do it. This isn't filling in some holes, this is a complete overhaul. I've consistently said I'm waiting to see who is on the full roster before I say too much, but I certainly understand the anxiety of others at this very moment. And they are posting at this very moment, posts will change as events change.
