Look. I can't stand Duke either. But no need to be ridiculous. Elite 8 this past year. They have top 3 level talent on their upcoming team, including their second #1 ranked recruiting class in 3 years. Hopefully we can rise to the level of their "death nell."

All I have to say is I’m insanely high on Egor Demin. Real Madrid is one of the best places for future pros to develop, and I’ve already gone over how unbelievably his raw ability is. I genuinely think if we were able to land him, we have final 4 potential. I know freshman don’t have the same impact as previously with COVID seniors and transfer portal, but we’ve seen what NBA ready freshman (especially in a NBA class as stacked as 2025) can do on teams. I can see him having the same level of impact as a Brandon Miller on Alabama.

A lineup of Boswell-Demin-Rodgers-Humrichous-Ivisic is stuff of nightmares for teams deal with. You can play 4 out with ivisic as a paint threat and ty rodgers as a cutter (a la Denver Nuggets with Gordon and Jokic) and have 1 large wings with Humrichous who’s one of the best 3pt shooters in the country and Demin who would be able to fill every role. Boswell would feast with the amount of threats as well and a pure PG is so perfect for this spot

If you will sit Morez or any 5-star and he doesn't play 25 minutes, I think he is one and done!

I don't think getting all 3 of Lanier, Poplar AND Demin is realistic. Even 2 of the 3 would be an amazing accomplishment if the staff could pull it off, in my opinion (and even that is probably borderline unrealistic - those are high-profile gets).

And while I have no idea where such a team would be ranked in the preseason, we'd have a very high ceiling if the team was able to put it all together. Might have to work through some stuff and adjust as the season goes, but still - big upside if it ever clicks.

Even one of the three. But I'd be ecstatic if we landed Egor and Tomislov; where can I buy FF tickets?

Getting 2/3 of Demin, Poplar, and Lanier is in no way unrealistic. Will we get them, will we not...is another question but that isn't even borderline unrealistic imo. That honestly should/might be the expectation given the fact that we, right now stand as the favorite to land Demin, and have by no means added an elite wing and that those guys are for sure on our radar as one of our main targets. Although I personally don't think it's out of the question, getting 3/3 might be a little unrealistic but...I mean...that's why it's dream scenario.

Yeah I debated a bit on how strongly to word that, but I think I like leaving it at: I’d be extremely impressed and excited to get 2 of the 3. But either way, I also like the guys we’ve already picked up and am confident Brad and his staff will round out a strong team with the remaining additions.
