Can no longer enter their names. As far as I know there isn't some other arbitrary deadline for players to pick their new schools beyond enrollment deadlines and the like.

Just can't enter anymore. Players already in can pick a new team at any time.

With the portal effectively closed now, we aren't likely to see many new names enter the spreadsheet. May see some names of guys currently in the portal suddenly become targets, especially as people pull out of the draft, but the pace of names adding will certainly be much slower. Crystal ball is likely to be as dynamic as ever though.

No idea if this info is accurate, but while we are waiting for more concrete info on Tomislav or other targets, I thought I’d stir the pot.

If we do end up missing on Demin, is it plausible/possible that we land a portal guard/wing for the “2” (using the position terms loosely) and then still be able to afford to pay Coleman enough to come back and play the “3”? Would we want that? Would he want that?

I’m still remembering Coleman guarding AJ Storr effectively in the second half of the BTT championship (with a bum knee, no less) and thinking he’d be just fine guarding wings full time. In other words, I trust Coleman guarding more athletic wings than I would guys like Humrichous or Guerrier, so I'm wondering if you could play Coleman as your 3 alongside Humrichous at the 4, hypothetically.

He would be a freshman with normal eligibility.

No. Just because Coleman was somewhat successful at guarding a checked out "I'll get mine and eff my teammates" AJ Storr doesn't mean he will have the lateral quickness to guard 3s. He would get absolutely murdered against teams that play 3 guard lineups.

CH is a 4 and a 5-in-a-pinch. That's it.

I'm pretty sure he is just 20, and he will get 4 years because this is the last year of the bonus Covid years.

I'm pretty sure he is just 20, and he will get 4 years because this is the last year of the bonus Covid years.

Actually, he will be 21 in August, so he will be a 21 year old freshman but the second part stands...4 years of eligibility unless he leaves early for the NBA or the portal.
