It's around his name. He doesn't want to be called Egor in the US, and who can blame him. He's pushing for "the dude" or "MJ" (he's a big fan).
I've always wondered what's the benefit for foreign players that are good enough to have a future at the next level?
Obviously with NIL (if they can be eligible) it can be beneficial for some of the players in lower level leagues. But going to a foreign country to play at a against essentially similar or even lessor competition for a year or 2 just doesn't make sense. Oh and they have to go to class and stay eligible. Like I don't get the draw of college ball for someone like Demin.
I get the relationship he may have built with Antigua but am I missing something else here?

What's so different about the style? Seems foreign players acclimate just fine to me.
