I like. Played 2 games at SON 2022-23. No idea where that is. Looks like nice all around player on winning team WSU was 25-10 2nd in Pac12. Lost to Iowa State in 2nd round NCAA. Not sure he is dominant scorer but we have added 6 players that averaged between 10-15 ppg Boswell, Hamrichous, White, Ivicic, Davis and one who avg 6 ppg Booth. TSJ only avg 12 ppg for TTech so any could emerge as 18 ppg lead scorer. While it would be nice to add a sure fire first team B10 players like Storr or Maddox not sure it is a must have.

I don't think we'd be able to get 2 more impact guys - if we get one more high impact guy, we likely wouldn't be able to attract a second one dollar wise or role wise - but you can always try. My sense is we're going after one of:
Jamir Watkins
Jaylen Wells
Miles Kelly
as the high impact wing player

Then if we get a second player it will be one of the following
Baba Miller
Monsanto
Mongolian Mike

If we get one from each list (particularly one from the top 2) that will be a great finish to this transfer class

What I meant by impact guys is guys who will play. All three of those guys (the names in bold) are impact guys - they'll play.

CHUMP EDIT: Wells and Kelly, I assume, are two of them? Insiders on another site say the Illini staff have shown no interest in Watkins. I can't remember who's all been discussed at this point.

The only problem is these guys plus Jaxson Robinson were all impact players in major conferences, which means a lot of schools are going after them. If AJ Hoggard is truly getting $800k, we better have $1.5M in hand to beat out other suiters. NIL and the portal are making everybody's life (except for the players) miserable.

All three of those guys are impact guys.

I think they can all have an impact as well, but they did average 7.5, 5.1 and 7.6 ppg respectively last year so it's just a different level than the first list in terms of impact they will likely have
