So with Fears 2 questions:

1: How likely is it he enrolls mid-year?

2: Is he going to play? We aren't gonna have him on DNPs right?...Or barely playing, only playing in garbage time? That isn't the plan right?

It's definitely on the table ...

Redshirt the spring ... Best strength coach and training facility in CBB for a semester ... Learn the system ... Learn his teammates ...

Come in and dominate next year ...
Seems ideal. From watching him play I don’t think he has much left to prove against high school kids

Redshirt for extra spring with the goat, Fletch. Agreed
Best training facility, agreed.
Learn the system, agreed.
Learn his teammates, LOL. Is that possible now a days? Imagine how Morez feels coming into this season after being around the last couple years

And he would get to participate in a Final Four run….

;-)
I think all this talk about Fears is premature, and it doesn't address our current need. BU is in Chi for the NBA combine. I believe he's sharply focused on getting another impact wing with size, length, and talent. He has said he only wants one more. I think he'll bring that wing soon to partner with Tre.

I agree. I was at that game and believe I'll never have such a lowest of lows to highest to highs sport moment again. Just incredible! Being there and experiencing it with about a dozen friends (along with Bill Murray) made it even better.
The greatest Illini shot of all time was the 30-foot buzzer beater by Nick Anderson to whip Indiana in their arena. It took a great pass from Bardo who was inbounding the ball. Knight made a stupid mistake by not putting a player on that endline to harass him.

Whenever I see something about Dai Dai, it makes me think of that team with JJ Taylor…man, what an unfortunate road that kid went down. Top 5-10 player in his class, looked like little KD, then he went to Donda and cratered.
Oh for sure, he's going to be another interesting/volatile player on Memphis this year.
