Didn’t know Romero was on injured list. They say what is wrong? I know he sure didn’t look the same during an outing last week.whew.......................It's never easy with what the cardinals bullpen is this year............................I didn't understand Marmol burning King with only 1 batter faced , especially with Romero on the IL.......................Marmol has a lot to learn on how to use a bullpen.......JMHO

Thanks! Was going to say that knee injury must of been why he failed to cover 1st base twice, but they said that’s when he hurt it.JoJo Romero's injury throws open closer role, just like it is for 2024: Cardinals Extra
Ryan Helsley, one game removed from a lengthy recovery from a forearm injury, will get first crack at his former role, but his availability comes with a caveat.www.stltoday.com

They probably will sweep and we will be asking where this team was all season.wow.................cardinals knock out strider after only 2 2/3 innings..........Where have these Cardinals been all season long ??
Cards lead 6-0................top of the 3rd ..........2 outs.....
Thought that was a can of corn, but deep enough to drive in the run.Stormin Gorman does it again......................and off a lefty too......................Kid's a stud !
yep....the called strike 3 on Walker and then the 1st strike call on Winn were both a FOOT outside..................that strike 3 was about the worst of the year.
This game looks like they are playing at Wrigley and the wind is blowing out at 30mph.
Cardinals with 10 runs in the first game of the series.....11 runs tonight .....how about 12 runs tomorrow with Waino pitching
I had to look it up, but it's true. It's also a little misleading as Truist Park (1050 ft) is about 4x closer in elevation to #30 (Citizen's Bank Park @ 9 ft) than Coors Field (5183 ft)They mentioned on broadcast that Truist Park is 3rd highest ballpark by elevation in baseball behind Coors Field and Chase Field.
