Cards are in the bottom 3 in National League in about every offensive category.
What's even scarier, we don't even have a young guy who looks like they have a clue. So, even if we tore it down, who do we even have to look forward to? We have Winn's defense. I like watching him play defense.

Sonny Gray , SO FAR , is proving he's worth every penny paid to him ..........would love to see another Cardinals pitcher getting 20 wins in a season.............if he locates like today he has a chance.....especially if our bats ever get untracked.......
Scoring zero runs IS the formula for success. /s

One of the ESPN writers suggested Goldy as a potential trade deadline move. He'll be 37 in September and is a pending UFA at the end of the season. If Saggese keeps hitting like he has in the minors, they may have to move Goldy to open a spot for him on the major league roster. If they keep Goldy, then Saggese gets moved since he'd be blocked at 1st and 3rd.

Saggese doesn't need to be moved either way. He mainly has played SS/2B in the minors since being traded to the Cardinals and just turned 22 a few weeks ago.

Main thing he needs is at bats in the minors. Played a handful of games after being traded to the Cardinals in AAA last season and was around 22% K rate. Played more games this season in AAA already and K rate is around 26-27%. If Gorman continues in a slump than Saggese should be called up. JMO but if people want to see Saggese than Crawford is expendable. Saggese can play rest games at 3B/SS and possibly more at 2B.

My daughter is a Sox fan. Every year I take her to a game. This year I offered to take her to a Sox-Cards game. She declined.

Was originally going to go to at least one if not two games in that series with my best friend whose a Sox fan. Ended up having to cancel trip as he's had some personal stuff go on in the past few months and wasn't feeling up to going. The Sox being atrocious hasn't helped either. We're now planning on going to Mariners/Cards in September.

Great to see Goldie and Gorman with big flies and a Cardinals win...

I've been watching Stanley Cup action tonight ......maybe that's the cure for the Redbirds.....
Keep it up! (The NHL watching, I mean ;))

Let’s hope the bats keep heating up. This pitching staff needs runs in a big way.

Glad I missed this fiasco.....
Hitters aren't hitting..
Pitchers aren't pitching..
Manager isn’t managing..
Pretty soon fans won't be attending...

Changes need to be made now to save season and fans trust in the team....

I know , injuries injuries injuries....
.but something is amiss in the dugout....

10 - 13 and 5 games out on April 23rd spells out changes need to be made.....plain and simple....
JMHO...
