I'm very happy, but a little shocked that we landed him.
Man this sucks. I will miss turning on the radio and hearing his excitement. You could tell he really loved his job and I always enjoy broadcasters who bring passion to the booth. Thank you Martin!
I am positive that getting out-recruited by Purdue is not a good thing.Go take a pill. Find positive things to say.
Any reason why he's stepping away? Just wanted a change in scenery?Man this sucks. I will miss turning on the radio and hearing his excitement. You could tell he really loved his job and I always enjoy broadcasters who bring passion to the booth. Thank you Martin!
He wants to have quality time with his young family. Good for him.Any reason why he's stepping away? Just wanted a change in scenery?
J Lehman ?So who will be next in the booth? Any guesses?
Ah glad it's that and not something else!He wants to have quality time with his young family. Good for him.
You will be missed Martin, always loved hearing you with the best play by play man in the business!
I would think his B10 gig would pay better but I have no knowledge.J Lehman ?

Robert Rosenthal. So who will be next in the booth? Any guesses?
I love Robert but no. He's super introspective which is great for his podcasts and writing style, but I don't think it would suit a live broadcastRobert Rosenthal.
I don’t think he could be concise enoughI love Robert but no. He's super introspective which is great for his podcasts and writing style, but I don't think it would suit a live broadcast
Been a buddy of mine since high school at central. Good guy with a good family. Would be a great get for the broadcast team.Leman
He does tend to ramble. Would need to tighten it up.I don’t think he could be concise enough
Decent writer, but certainly rambles on too much as mentioned.Robert Rosenthal.

Oh god no.Robert Rosenthal.
Yup. Know the Leman boys quite well.Been a buddy of mine since high school at central. Good guy with a good family. Would be a great get for the broadcast team.
yea, I LOVE Robert’s writing , but he’s actually hard to listen to. He just doesn’t have the gift for what’s needed to talk on radio/Tv .Oh god no.
This is exactly what I was trying to say in a deleted post this morning but couldn't find the words.I'm sure he would also admit that he's not an xs and os kind of guy, he tends to look at either big picture or interesting perspectives. Good for a writer but not a broadcaster.
