Agreed. But how will they be cap compliant? Obviously Anisimov needs to be moved, but defensively, Seabs will almost certainly have to come off contract. Lee wont be a Hawk with anything near the reported 9M AAV, though maybe they can squeak that in, but given how much I expect Debrincat to command, and if Strome has a year anywhere near what he had in the 50+ games with the Hawks last year, their respective contracts might be very close. I'd expect them together to command close to 8-12M on a lower end.Zawaski said on last night’s podcast that Lee (Anders) wants to play in Chicago, and is willing to sign for less in Chicago than Minnesota is offering him. He'd be an awfully good fit. Don't want more than 5 years though.

I really think Bowman's painted himself into a corner with the contracts we have on defense. He's gonna have to find someway to get Seabs off the books for us to have a chance at making this thing work anytime soon.
