Something as simple and timeless as this gets my vote(With ILLINOIS or ILLINI instead of BULLS of course).

I hope that the numeral font doesn't carry over to any basketball uni upgrade.

Call me crazy, but I consider cursive script on basketball uniforms a half of a step above 1LL1NO1S with the "Rollerball" numeral font. I prefer block font arched "ILLINOIS" or "ILLINI" with block numerals. Now get off of my lawn.

No cursive scripts on helmets or uniforms.

My preference would be this with Block I on helmet, orange pants with no stripes. Outline the orange numerals with white if you must.
