Only coaching regime I had ties to, and almost every time I was told something it didn't come true. I think those guys were strung along consistently themselves, imo, and I felt for them. Happy to be out of the loop now :)
I agree, because one thing he should be able to do right out of the gate is rebound. He'll have to adjust to the college game for sure. But on the other hand, opponents are going to have problems dealing with him. He's big and mobile. And I don't think he starts over Giorgi; he starts with him.
Get Kofi to drop ~20lbs, increase his athleticism a little in the process; there's a place for him. Saying this without ever seeing him play a college game, but it's just a projection. You don't have to be Kevin Durant; Andre Drummond seems more of a reasonable aspiration.
