Being in the home stretch of this year...who/what can we expect the B1G to look like next year? I believe it bodes well for us ILLINI!
MSU - Will be back and tough as always...Top 25 team next year pre-season.
Ohio State - Will be stronger than this year.
Indiana - Existing squad after Langford (gone) will be worst, Morgan leaves too...recruiting?
Wisconsin- Top 25 will be stronger imo, Reuvers along with guad domination, they should be good.
Minnesota - Will drop off drastically
Maryland - Will be Top 25 pre-season if no big's leave for draft.
Northwestern - Will be really bad imo, young frontcourt 2 best players gone from subpar this year.
Rutgers - Will be far and away better than this year....that said that may only be 5-6 wins in conf.
Iowa - Very strong once again...they will be Top 25 pre-season as well, especially if Cook stays.
Michigan - Top 10 team pre-season, will win title probably.
Nebraska - I think may actually be better without Palmer and Watson long term, still under achieving
Purdue- Will be very good even without Edwards.
Penn St.- May have to transfer to another conference to get any wins next year...
Illinois - With our core team playing and staying together and recruits helping out....I really think we jump back to top Tier in conference with the others for most part being down next year. We will have 5 teams ranked pre-season imo, other than that and depending on schedule, I could see us getting to 10 wins next year, maybe more. 8 wins vs the "down" teams listed and 1-3 shockers against maybe the upper echelon teams listed.
