Also he was with the program last year and the current players can talk him up to recruits. Great get in Harper.McClain has surprised most everyone. He's been all over the recruiting trail. He made the strong push for commit #1 Harper
Talked to someone in the offices and they said “humble beast” might not be a take right now...
Grades problems?
Far more likely that staff feels they have a high probability of landing better DTs.

I refuse to believe that any of us have a better understanding of what the staff is looking for and why they may turn down someone like Warren. Didn't Michigan already do the same thing?I refuse to believe they're that dumb

Alright, so if you trust Bellamy's Twitter, there have been five commitments so far. Three announced. Let's hope for another tomorrow.
Didn’t he miss a few games last year, and then decommitted (whether him or mich drove that)? He has visited ILL multiple times afterwards so staff did their homework. Maybe likes LSU more right now? Reallocate recruiting resources? That’s fine if staff feels it’s best.My guess is that it would be the same reason Michigan parted ways with him.
Dang. That boy better start hitting the books!Talked to someone in the offices and they said “humble beast” might not be a take right now...
Antonio Johnson could (should?) be a monster safety and will play early and often. His table is ready.
I'd definitely take his WR teammate, if it helps w/Johnson. Pretty sure there're some prime ESL underclassmen we have our eyes on.
Moses Okpala says helloOther than the reasons myself plus others have mentioned about A Johnson, I am very interested to see if C Pat/Lovie will be able to snag a NON Trinity St. Louis top prospect. Not that Corey is a bad recruiter, I think he is probably great with the players/prospects, but eventually all of his Trinity guys are going to be cycled out. Then what is left is a talented program run by a Missouri alum that Corey used to be a head coach at.

We just got 2 CBs for Denver Warren.
Allen Trieu was just on the Jeremy Werner Show and said that Illinois was the leader for Denver. We'll see what happens.

Although I do not put Moses nor Randolph in the East St. Louis category as far as talent, your points are well taken. How quickly we forgetMoses Okpala says hello
I was born in Toledo.... and my name is Holy. (Only one of those things is true.)I was born in Denver......and my name is Warren.
