In the bathroom? Seriously I don't know. What is the best place to listen to the Cards on the internet?
How many rookies have made their debut this past week?
I think a little league team could have run the bases better.
Lack of moves by Cardinals was to be expected. Especially with so many players getting ready to come off the covid list in the next week or so.
All that to be said, thank goodness we signed Brad Miller. 7-rbi day today. That is serious production. We just need (some) of that more often. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lot of fun to beat the pants off the Reds (most runs scored in Great America Ballpark ever) but piling on does no good if tomorrow you only muster 3 hits.Yes it is true but other than DeJong I don't see the returning COVIDs as having consistent pop in their bat. Most were pitchers.
For all the love there is for Carlson he appears to be here a year too early. Lane Thomas is a question mark. It needs to be answered but at what cost? Matt Carpenter is great for walks (And called third strikes.) but he has not shown the ability to contribute in any meaning manner. He plays simply because he is getting paid $18 million. Tyler O'Neill can hit the cover off the ball but a little bit of an average would be nice. I am no advanced stats expert but striking out 28% of the time sounds bad to me.

Anybody else getting aggravated with the way we keep squandering these 1 or 2 run games. The offense couldn't stop producing Tuesday, and yesterday they were afraid to produce. Such a feast or famine offense.
Winning the double hitter today was a lot of fun. Question, I think this was our first win as the home team at Wrigley. What a strange thing.
Sad to hear of his passing. Was a true gentleman of baseball.Lou Brock has passed away at the age of 81.
He had been dealing with health issues for years. He had to get his left leg amputated below the knee back in 2015 because of an infection related to a diabetic condition. Less than six months later he was able to stand unaided and threw out the first pitch at Opening Day.
He and Tom Seaver (who just passed away earlier this week) both faced each other 157 times, the most plate appearances/batters faced for either one of them in their careers.
