#1 vs. #300 = easy blowout? Not last night. Longwood had a ball against top-ranked Illinois, playing with nothing to loose, cutting the lead to 8 points with 9 minutes to play. The players (and fans) finally awoke from their holiday stupor to put away the Lancers. Longwood's 79 points were the most scored by an Illinois opponent all season. Pictures from last night:
