Winnable Game Ahead?

The 2-3 Illini get sweet relief in the Big Ten on Saturday in the form of the 3-1 Indiana Hoosiers. A victory is by no means assured, but after being crushed in the first two conference games by an average score of 48-11 one can sense that competitive football may be afoot because Illinois is only a 6-point dog on the road. Sad to say, this contest is crucial for the sake of both team's conference win columns for 2005. Filed under: Illini Football, Indiana Hoosiers
