After an 8-day layoff due to final exams, the Illini suited up yesterday afternoon at the Assembly Hall and beat Belmont 77-51. Warren Carter had 21 points on 8-12 shooting. Tomorrow night is the annual Braggin' Rights contest against the Missouri Tigers in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center FKA the Savvis Center FKA the Kiel Center. Illinois has won the last 6 meetings, and is 17-8 in the Braggin' Rights series.
