Chief Illiniwek's Last Dance
February 21, 2007 11:59 PM
Chief Illiniwek received an emotionally-charged send-off from the Assembly Hall sellout crowd Wednesday night on Senior Night. An excellent retrospective video was shown on the video board prior to the dance. The Chief performed amid a constant flicker of flash bulbs, and caused many tears to flow during an unexpected encore, when he came back out to salute the crowd for the final time. Video. Video. Video. Discuss the Chief in the General Sports Talk Forum.
