Stan Simpson MVP at IL Coaches All Star Game

"It's an all-star game, but you've got to play hard anyway, change your intensity and win your last high school game."
The 6-foot-9 Simpson scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half to spark the North's comeback. Simpson was a force inside and at the free throw line, where he was a perfect 5 of 5.
"What you saw tonight, that's the type of game I play," Simpson said. "I wish I could have caught some more dunks in there, but playing with the best in the state I feel real good about how I played."
