Illini come back from the brink

Juice wasn't perfect, but was 7-10 on the game-winning drive. The defense bent, but held the Hawks out of the end zone on numerous trips inside the red zone early. I am critical of the timeout with 0:29 to go, and Vontae Davis' non-desire to down the clinching interception, but a win is a win.
Eller's kick was the biggest Illinois field goal at Memorial Stadium since John Gockman's 48-yarder tied the game at the end of regulation in the 2002 OT loss to #2 Ohio State. It was the first game-winning Illini FG since Chris Richardson's 41-yarder beat Ohio State 10-7 in 1991.
- 'Huge' boot for Eller.
- Illini bowl hopes still alive with win over Iowa.
- McGee came up big for Illini at receiver.
