Just got back from the Purdue game!

Just got back from the game! WOW! That was too much for my nerves, especially being there around all the "Boiler Up" fans. Just a few points
1. I realize now why the Orange Krush is famous, Purdue student section didn't even come close. They even stole Krush material. (Left, right, left, right, right, left......)
2. The atmosphere at Purdue was great, but the Clemson atmosphere at the Hall was twice as good and it wasn't even a sellout.
3. Pregame hype and electricity- nothing at Mackey Arena. The crowd was into it and loud, but there was nothing cool about the pregame.
4. The Illini fans that were at the game were AWESOME! We all got the ILL-INI chant going in the 2nd half, wasn't sure if you could hear it on TV tho. The Illini fans were loud and I think the players noticed it and it rattled the Purdue fans, they were giving me crap about our governor the whole entire game.
5. West Lafayette, very nice town, really nice people. For the most part, the Purdue fans were really nice and respectful.
6. That was an awesome game to be at, although I don't think I have a voice and probably won't have one tomorrow.
7. The refs looked horrible from where I was sitting, bad calls both ways.
8. I am glad this team is versatile. We beat a ranked, in conference opponent on the road without DMac dropping 20. That shows me that this team could be something special.
