Illini answer challenge in a big way

Mike Davis was a big-time performer, the best player on the floor for either team, with 22 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. Demetri McCamey scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half and said he'll be fine for the Purdue game after catching a knee in his thigh and sitting out five minutes. And Trent Meacham scored 10 points and was front-and-center in a 23-5 run in the second half that buried the Wolverines.

Mike Tisdale had six points, six rebounds and three assists. And Calvin Brock's defense was outstanding against Manny Harris (nine points on 3-for-11 shooting).
