Calvin Brock fills in admirably for Chester Frazier

Brock replaced the injured Frazier in the starting lineup Friday and did more than score six points and grab five rebounds in the 60-50 victory. He showed he can provide a defensive presence.

The fifth-year senior from Simeon led the defensive effort against Michigan guard Manny Harris.

"Calvin's very good defense on Harris really frustrated him," Illinois coach Bruce Weber said.
