WHERE TO EAT
Rantoul offers all the usual fast-food options. And that's fine. But we prefer the local cuisine. Here are a couple of options:
- Ott's. You're good to go for breakfast or lunch. Biscuits and gravy are among the diner favorites, but everything on the menu is tasty and reasonably priced.
- El Toro. On the site of the former Pia's, your craving for Mexican food will be satisfied. And, you can go to the nearby Rural King afterward to pick up supplies.
- Garcia's Pizza. An old favorite for C-U residents, you can drive up to the window in Maple Grove Plaza and order a slice or two. Don't forget the salad and drinks.
