Camp Rantoul: Day 3 coverage
August 12, 2009 10:26 PM
Junior receiver CHRIS JAMES has made an impression on the coaches in the early days of Camp Rantoul. Two years removed from knee surgery, James is trying to work his way into the receiver rotation.
"He's done three or four things here in the first few days," Illinois coach RON ZOOK said. "He's caught my eye. He's worked extremely hard in the offseason and wants an opportunity to get back on the field. He knows he wasn't 100 percent last year, and it's hard and frustrating. He's going to help this football team."
