Asked if there is a game on the Illinois schedule he's particularly looking forward to, Legion said, "Michigan and Michigan State."
The Detroit-area product said that after Illinois' second practice of the season. He's not looking ahead, but it's clear those matchups carry more weight with Legion, especially after watching the Spartans advance to the Final Four in Detroit. And how was that experience for Legion?
"Horrible. It was horrible," he said with a laugh. "They're in my hometown, dudes that I grew up with, playing in the Final Four down the street from where I grew up, probably 20 minutes from my house."
