The problem is quite simple: A lack of effort and a lack of leadership

These guys did not play hard enough on a consistent basis. With the exception of Demitri McCamey, no one else wanted the ball in their hands when it mattered. You can only ride one horse for so long.

Our coaching staff needs to sit down and figure out a better way to motivate these guys. This team is obviously not a group of self-starters. A good teacher is able to adapt to their children's needs and find a way to get the best out of them. Our players have talent, but Bruce and Co. haven't found a good way to tap into it.

Leadership is an entirely different thing. You can't teach it. It's a unique quality that you're born with. I don't see next year's team being any better because there isn't one young man on that roster I would characterize as being a true leader.
