Depth and athleticism

Getting back to the big picture, SIU came out jacked up, I think we all knew they would. They were playing intense defense and making shots. Unfortunately for SIU, for all their effort, Illinois weathered the storm despite Tisdale riding pine most of the half. This was the best example we've seen to date of what an asset our depth and athleticism can be, SIU was flat out overwhelmed by the army we brought in off the bench.
